Life Transformation is a term coined by Dr. Richard F. Macko, who serves as president of the Prescott Valley Association of Drug Recovery. Dr. Macko has been an addict for thirty-five years and has been successful in helping many other addicts to rid themselves of addiction. Life Transformation is a term he developed to help describe what happens when an addict makes a real-life commitment to facing their problems and overcoming them. It includes the twelve step program of recovery, twelve-step meetings, spiritual support, personal development, and a life-style change.
This drug rehab treatment program in Prescott Valley Arizona offers several different programs that can fit the needs of most individuals. The two major components of the program are inpatient and outpatient treatment. Inpatient treatment programs utilize the full service approach that provides individualized, compassionate care while allowing the patient to maintain an active role in their recovery.
Many of the patients who have gone through the Life Transformation program have gone on to achieve sobriety and have become models of sobriety themselves. Many of these individuals have gone on to serve as leaders in the drug addiction field, teach at one of the many addiction treatment schools throughout the nation, or establish private agencies that serve to help those suffering from addiction. Others still have found that they still need to deal with emotional issues, alcohol/drug cravings, and relationship issues that must be overcome before they can fully recover. Whether someone chooses to enter one of the inpatient treatment facilities or one of the outpatient treatment programs, they are welcomed into an environment that will work to help them fully recover and live a new life free from the attractions of drugs and alcohol.
