The hardest part about moving to a new city is the transition from living in a suburban setting to living in a “city.” Trying to get used to the noise, the heat, and the crowds is often enough to discourage most from making such a big change. This is why searching for a so-called “city” in Pasadena, Texas, is so important for many. There are many great neighborhoods in this area of Texas and finding one that fits your personality should be easy. One of my personal favorites is the Transitional Living Complex, which has a mix of residential options such as small town living with some retail stores and a playground, or urban three-story lofts with ample parking and laundry rooms, all within walking distance to shopping, dining and nightlife.
Of course, finding a good place to stay is another matter. Finding lodging that fits within your budget should not be too much of a problem since Transitional Living provides many affordable housing opportunities. If you are looking to find a place that is both comfortable and affordable, then you need to check out the new River Oaks Place, which is sure to charm you with it’s many features including: large cozy one and two bedroom homes with lots of space. There are also apartments that range from one and a half bathrooms to two bathrooms with lots of floor-to-ceiling windows.
And don’t forget to enjoy all the activities and parks near your new home. There are endless parks in this great community. Look for the nearest one to your new place and then take a hike, bike ride, or go see a favorite play. Or just hang out by the swimming pool and watch the kids play. You can also find a great restaurant and a coffee shop just a few blocks away, perfect for a quick cup of coffee or an evening meal. In fact, you could pretty much do anything you want in this wonderful community.
