Information about Sober Living in Waltham Massachusetts
You have probably seen or heard of the television series “Sober Living”. This television show is a spoof of the real Transitional dwelling community in Waltham, MA. The show follows the life of Max Goldman, who finds himself homeless after his marriage falls apart. He sets out on an odyssey to find a new home and settle down. The series follows his trials and tribulations as he tries to find out what it means to be a “good” person in Waltham, while balancing his duties at home with his intense travels around the city.
Max’s journey will eventually lead him to reconnecting with his best friend, Ellen. Together they help each other through times of trouble and illness. This show has been very popular among viewers who find themselves in a similar situation in their lives after being in the process of a transition or undergoing a tough time. If you are a person in a transitional period, I highly recommend this show. I know it has been on since 2021 but I have not forgotten it nor do I think it is going to go away anytime soon.
Another great place to find a sober community in Waltham is at the Singing Tree. Located right off of Main Street in Waltham, the Singing Tree offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere that will help you feel welcomed. They have many activities for children and adults of all ages so if you are unsure about moving into a Transitional housing community, I highly recommend trying it out for yourself. It is clean, friendly, and feels like a community right in the middle of something that can change your life.
