Our unique transitional living house for men is located in Hinsdale, IL.” -Trinity St. Vincent & The Greengrass Therapy Park The transitional living homes offer outstanding supportive services in a peaceful environment. Each resident is assigned an Intake Worker, a trained counselor with specialized training in alcohol and drug treatment programs, who assists them one-on-one in the assessment and treatment of the problem. Upon entering the residence, each adult is assigned a Treatment Manager to assist him or her with daily tasks such as meal planning and shopping, as well as other life-enhancing activities. Each team of trained therapists treat an individualized group of men. When one participant has completed the treatment program and has achieved the goal of sobriety, he or she is entered into the Homeaway Care System, a system of on-site in-home care where he or she is given the assistance needed to re-enter the community with renewed confidence and a sense of purpose. There are five licensed therapists/clinicians on board who specialize in specific areas of treatment. These include alcohol and drug abuse, bipolar, eating disorders, gambling, and ODD. They provide customized care plans, individualized therapy with support groups for the full benefit of the men in the transitional housing facility. The transition house has a Transitional Living Manager who oversees the treatment process, making sure that all professionals and residents meet satisfactory quality standards in their specific area of treatment.
