Interim HealthCare of Macon Ga is a residential treatment and care center for people with a range of needs. The mission of the Interim HealthCare of Macon Ga organization is to make sure that persons with mental illness and other physical conditions are able to live productive and meaningful lives. The goal of the organization is to provide the most humane, systematic and comprehensive services to persons in crisis. Interim HealthCare of Macon operates several residential communities for the homeless. The transitional living home was designed to help the person to reestablish his or her life by providing housing and other necessary support. The transitional living home provides housing for the single parent family as well as for families with children who have been removed from the primary care setting.
The residential community offers so called “sober houses” or “boarding homes”. The so called “boarding homes” are available for short term stays by individuals or families who have no where else to go. The transitional living homes are run by licensed caregivers who are trained in providing drug and alcohol abuse treatment and other related services. The transitional living homes can be reached by using twenty-four hour staff and board certified volunteers.
Interim HealthCare of Macon offers many resources for the mentally ill including social workers and psychologists. One has to pay a nominal fee to join the transitional living program, but this fee is small compared to the cost of an inpatient stay at the mental health facility. Interim HealthCare of Macon provides its clients with both inpatient and out patient services for those suffering from mental illness. It also offers sober living apartments to those needing temporary living quarters while attending the transitional living program.
