At Transitional Living we believe that you can do that when you first step outside your boundaries. “At Transitional Living we are committed to giving you the freedom to do whatever feels right for you. “At Transitional Living we want to give each resident with the opportunity to make their own small changes in their life at any time or on their own schedule. “You can make small changes in your life at any time.” In the independent living program at New You Sober Living you will find all the comforts of home including: fresh linens, fully equipped modernized kitchens, stocked cabinets, organized and safe storage spaces, laundry facilities with a washer/dryer, health care services such as licensed practical nurses and physical therapists, full-time nannies, housekeeping, transportation assistance, meals provided twice a day, access to library and meeting rooms, and a medical alarm. The goal of New You Sober Living is to create a warm and secure environment for you as you make your transition from childhood to adulthood. The goal of the independent living program is to help you build strength and confidence while preparing you to make a fresh start in your life. You will meet other adults with similar goals and experiences. When you have a plan and a way of seeing it through, you have learned how to find sober living in Oakland Park, Florida. The transitional living program at Transitional Housing is located in the heart of the city in an exciting part of town just minutes from the beaches. The residents are extremely busy professional women who work full-time in the offices nearby, play tennis or golf in the nearby parks, and go to the nearby hospitals, day care centers and schools. The transitional homeowners come and go between living in their spacious, beautiful homes on the Gulf Coast, the Everglades and Oakland Park Florida. Many are full-time employed in various companies that provide health benefits or pension plans. They purchase their homes at affordable prices when they first buy out on their retirement years.
