Information about Sober Living in San Francisco California

How to find Sober Living in San Francisco California can be done by using the services of transitional living facilities. These are not for everyone but are ideal for people who have either had a history of drug abuse or are living with a loved one who is suffering from an addiction. Transitionals offer help with managing day to day living and dealing with job and family responsibilities. Most transitional programs have residential settings as well as individual rooms. When you contact transitional housing agencies you will go through a background check. You will then have to discuss your alcohol or drug abuse problem with them. If you fit into the guidelines, you will be assigned a case manager and be moved into a small apartment for down payments while you work on finding sober living. The agency also will provide clerical and housekeeping support while you are enrolled in outpatient therapy. Once you have completed your program, you will have a bracelet to wear and will not be allowed to drink alcohol or drugs under any circumstances. Many of these residential programs will also have outpatient treatment available. If you suffer from a serious addiction, you may have difficulty finding sober living conditions. If this is the case you should contact a local addiction treatment center for more information. They can help you find a transition plan that will be effective in helping you to kick the habit and live a drug free life. Contact your local addiction treatment center for more information on finding a great program that will work for you.
