Mather Community Campus Next Move Sober Living in Mather California is a transitional living complex that offers twenty-four hour supportive care, full-time tutoring, on-site medical care, on-site childcare, food service, security, case management, support groups, and addiction treatment programs. “This is the perfect way to give someone a chance at a new beginning,” says Paula Domingo, program director for Sober Living in Mather, CA. “The Sober Living Program partners with its client’s families, providing a safe and secure environment while helping them become a resilient, successful community member.” The Mission is focused on providing an approach to drug and alcohol addiction treatment, offering complete care from start to finish through all stages of recovery.
The mission is focused on changing the lives of those individuals suffering from addiction and helping them become productive and successful members of their communities. Programs are offered at the Sober Living home and in the Transitional Living Complex so that addicts can go from living on the streets to functioning again in a productive and safe environment. The goal is for each resident to have a loved one enrolled in an AA or NA meeting, attending AA meetings on a regular basis, and participating in AA or NA activities to help him or her get well. This will increase the success of the addict in achieving sobriety and helping him or her become independent and well adjusted in his or her daily life.
Another focus of Sober Living is to offer families a chance to start over in a new home. Families who are experiencing a divorce or a child coming into the world, can feel overwhelmed by their circumstances and need a place to start over. Mather Community Campus offers transitional housing so that these families can find a home of their own, without having to go through the trauma of losing everything they worked so hard to acquire. With Sober Living you gain back your security, your sense of security, even if only for a little while. This transition is rewarding in and of itself and can lead to better life skills and stronger attachments to family.
