Solidarity Fellowship Inc. was founded in 2021 by Dr. Miguel Lopez-Levy, who has been a practitioner of drug recovery for over 20 years and a professional consultant on drug rehab facilities and programs. The organization now has eleven different programs that provide support to those who are trying to recover from drug and alcohol addiction and or who have a loved one who is. In addition, they offer educational support through their twelve television programs and website. Their focus is on recovery from all forms of addiction.
The Solidarity Fellowship Inc. is a unique mix of community and professional services. The focus of the organization is on recovery and relapse prevention through an extensive network of healthcare practitioners, pastors, specialists, support group coordinators, and residential counselors. They believe that recovery is possible through comprehensive outreach and ongoing collaboration with the surrounding community. They seek to empower the people in the surrounding areas through information and knowledge. Through this they hope to promote improved family environment, increased social interaction, and increased knowledge about proper drug use and abuse. Members are encouraged to participate in a twelve step program, attend church on a regular basis, participate in a Solidarity Fellowship group, and maintain a certain lifestyle.
The main goal of the program is to create recovery opportunities through involvement in the local halfway house. Through this they hope to assist the member with finding an alternate living situation and thereby bettering his or her quality of life. They are also looking to connect members to the local medical community in order to provide them with referrals to local treatment facilities and medical professionals. They hope that each member will take this step as a stepping stone in their own recovery. While this particular organization offers support through their twelve television shows and website, most are focused on assisting members to find employment in the areas of employment, drug prevention, and addiction treatment, among other things.
