The Old Pueblo Community Services and Casa Santa Clara & Oasis House for Women offer a long list of services for individuals needing drug and alcohol rehabilitation. The long term drug and alcohol rehabilitation is a complex process that involves multiple services including detoxification, education, aftercare, support for spouses, skills training, personal growth and life coaching. This organization provides the following services: Long Term Care Centers, Intermediate Care for Teens, Drug and Alcohol Abuse Treatment, Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation for Kids, Senior Care, Employment and Training, Translation Services, Office Programs, Tribal Counseling, Case Management, Direct Entry into Drug Treatment, and other specific programs. Casa Santa Clara & Oasis House for Women also offer a transitional living home for the elderly, called the transitional living home for women.
The transitional living home for women houses provide a comfortable environment for elderly or disabled women to live out their remaining days in a peaceful way. The transitional living homes are a very supportive environment that gives elderly individuals a chance to live an improved quality of life. The center is a collaboration between two social service organizations, providing a unique opportunity for those who may have experienced abuse or disadvantage. The Old Pueblo Community Services also works closely with the local and state government. Both of these organizations share a vision of a world where every individual is given equal rights and opportunities regardless of race, gender, economic status, or religion.
The Old Pueblo Community Services is funded through a combination of federal and state funds. Most of the funding received goes directly into the client’s accounts, while the balance is used for meeting the administrative costs of running the center. Most of the clients that come to the center are women, often experiencing some level of abuse at the hands of men in their lives. Those in need of alcohol and drug rehabilitation are referred to this program.
