Red Mountain Sedona, a transitional living facility, offers a variety of choices for residents who are just getting out of an abusive relationship. The transitional living complex offers rooms for teens with parents, guardians, or other family members, affordable community access, and a “work at home” office. If you are struggling with your life and feel like you may need some extra assistance, then this place is perfect for you. Their mission is to offer quality, supportive, humane, and independent housing options for families during the transition and recovery from an abusive situation.
Red Mountain Sober Living in Sedona Arizona is a safe, clean, drug-free environment. All residents are assessed for drug and alcohol use before being placed in a residence. “The goal of the Sober Living program is to offer the most comprehensive care for its clients,” says Paula P. Johnson, Executive Director of The Sober Living Foundation (TLSF), which owns and manages Red Mountain Sedona. They strive to work with each client to determine their drug and alcohol dependency, inpatient programs, on-site supervision, and independent living skills. TLSF also offers related programs in Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, and Oregon. In addition, TLSF offers free referral information to families experiencing a crisis.
The goal of the Sober Living Homes is to match each client with an appropriate community that will support him or her in establishing long-term sobriety. There are several independent Living Homes with board members or staff members with expertise in addiction recovery. This way, the resident can learn how to be sober and get assistance in creating plans for independent living, as well as participate in community activities. Most Red Mountain sober living homes have a 24 hour helpline for receiving help. All residents are encouraged to participate in the program as it is customized to meet the needs of men and women struggling to recover from addiction.
