The Southwest Behavior Health Center is a transitional living facility that serves people who are newly sober. Sober living is a unique program that is designed to help people overcome their alcohol addiction and learn how to live a healthy, productive life. The program focuses on helping the person re-enter into the world safely and responsibly. The center offers four different residential treatment programs for people suffering from alcoholism. The transitional living program offers in-home services, in-treatment supportive services, and extended stay recovery programs.
During the summer months the Sober Living program offers its transitional services to clients that are suffering from withdrawal symptoms from alcohol. The transitional services can be provided by a trained professional during the day and after hours services at the center. The transitional living center offers four different kinds of transitional programs that address various needs of their clients. The four programs are: Stages for Beginners, Dance Program, Live an Artist’s Life, and Build Your Pathway to recovery.
