Pathways community was named after the popular book written by Betty B. Powell, which details her own experiences of living with addiction. Ms. B. Powell’s novel has become a best seller and inspired many to delve into their own personal fight against addiction. Pathways provides individuals with the tools to become an alcohol and drug free. The program uses the 12-step approach to addiction recovery that is based on the notion that all people have a fundamental need to connect with a source of power and knowledge for validating their values and thoughts. The primary goal of the community is to constructively transition people from alcohol and drug addiction to wellness and recovery.
