March Of Dimes is an organization that provides a variety of activities for those suffering from a drug or alcohol addiction. The main focus of this organization is to help those with childhood or young adulthood alcohol or drug abuse issues get the assistance they need to overcome their problems. There are many different activities for those suffering from drug and alcohol addiction. Some of these activities include but are not limited to, Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Christian Alcoholics Anonymous, Drug Rehabilitation Center, and Alcoholics Anonymous Women’s Program. Drug Rehabilitation at Fort Smith Arkansas also offers the same types of programs for adults that are 12 and older.
A person can choose to be treated through outpatient treatment at the Fort Smith Drug Rehab facility or they can choose to be treated through inpatient treatment. Those who are looking for outpatient treatment can go to either the Fort Smith Arkansas University Hospital or the Behavioral Health Services clinic on campus. Those who are looking for inpatient treatment can go to the Winstroom Medical Center in Fort Smith or the Scott Clinic in downtown Fort Smith. Both of these clinics offer both inpatient and outpatient substance abuse treatment programs for those in need.
If someone in your family or a friend is struggling with drugs or alcohol, you may want to consider starting a treatment program at the March Of Dimes site. This not only will provide them with the education they need to get back on track with their lives, but it will give them the support they need to get their lives back on track. Getting the help you need should be one of the first things you do if you know of someone that needs help. Many times it is hard to know where to turn or what to think about when someone you love is going through a difficult time. However, being able to reach out and see that there is life and help out there is a huge step towards recovery.
